Job duties: 1) Design, implement and maintain a localized database to support routine MI reporting and ad-hoc business analytics. • Improve MI reporting & ad-hoc business analytics capability by building an effective Personal Financial Services (PFS) analytical data platform. • Provide banking customer demopraphy/account/transaction data for customer profile/sales performance/product profitability analytics. • Enhance data storage and enhance current process in terms of designing standard MI reports procedure. 2) As the key person representing PFS to the implementation of banking data warehouse project (BI R2). • Involve in BI R2 project planning, testing, implement and migration, with a focus on overall PFS business data warehouse setup, reporting platform design, data mining tools fulfill and reporting migration. • Work closely with local/regional project team on business requirement preparation, project schedule discussion and implementation detail designing. 3) Design and generate MI reports to support Headquarter function teams, regional management and frontline management • Enhance the existing MI reporting with a focus on developing systematic reports system to assist PFS management team tracking and monitoring business result, and to provide business analytics to support sales, service and product team to meet their business targets. • Provide more effective and streamlined forward daily/monthly MI reporting to sub-branch/Direct Sales Force (DSF), to assist frontline management to monitor business performance. 4) Provide business analytics to identify business opportunities with actionable recommendations to help achieve business targets • Data analytics/mining, modeling, business planning and performance forecasting to support business development and senior-management strategy making. Job requirements: • Bachelor degree or above in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics, Marketing, Finance, Business Administration • Intermediate Excel knowledge (formulas, data manipulation and sorting, pivot tables, graphs); Advanced Excel knowledge (VBA, Macros) and Experience with SAS, SQL programming or database management preferred • Ability to read and write emails in English • Good team, interpersonal and communication skills • 1-3 years experience preferred |
