We are currently seeking talented graduates to join HSBC's China Banker Development Programme (BDP), which was established in 1991 with an objective to develop banking generalists and future leaders through practical experience and skills training.
The 24-month programme includes classroom training, on-the-job training, job rotation and attachments to various businesses and functions across HSBC China.
There are seven business-focused streams in BDP, each designed to optimize the learning experience and provide trainees with skill sets specific to the respective business needs. Following is a brief description of each of the six business areas. Commercial Banking (CMB) HSBC Commercial Banking serves millions of small, medium-sized and middle-market enterprises, providing commercial customers with a full range of banking services including multi-currency business accounts, payments and cash management, wealth management and insurance, and global trade and receivables finance, as well as a comprehensive range of Managers an Business Specialists providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC helps customers make the most of opportunities for their businesses.
Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail baking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.
HSBC Technology and Services (HTS) HSBC Technology and Services is a pivotal part of the Group, responsible for seamlessly integrating technology platforms and operations with the aim of redefining customer experience and driving down the unit cost of production.
