We opened our Beijing representative office in 1982 and first China branch in Guangzhou in 1995. Both Guangzhou and Beijing branches have RMB license. The Guangzhou branch offers banking services in Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance and Corporate Lending to our worldwide clients operating in China. Our Canadian Banking Services team can assist approved immigrants and visa students on information relating to personal accounts and related banking services in Canada.

Position: Technology Risk Assistant / Analyst
Role:
To assist Technology Operational Risk Manager in ensuring the fulfillment of IT requirements for China Inc.
Assists in the preparation of IT requirement for China Inc., such as documents for Opening in the ORMG and related areas.
Assists in the assurance of the appropriate IT practices applicable to all items on China Inc. documents.
Establishes BMO China Co. policies and standards and assists the creation on local procedures for all operational and technology risk management areas.
Provides consultation or information on corporate policy, standard and process queries.
To assist in planning and implementation as well as daily enforcement on processes and procedures for Business Continuity Management and Contract Management
Assist in coordinating, executing and documentation of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) plans and exercises as well as posting test results and evaluations
Assists in planning, implementation and follow-up of all BCM components, including disaster recovery, Variolli, Life & Safety, Pandemic, Event Management Framework, myCoop, application profiles.
Develops and ensures regular, consistent and quality reporting for BCM initiatives and IT operational risk for China.
Develops and manages training and awareness programs on BCM and IT operational risk.
Enforces processes and requirements for Contract Management, such as Contract Management Program and IT Risk review processes for third party vendor.
To assist in ensuring the fulfillment of IT requirements for Audit and Compliance
Assists in external and internal audits.
Assists in fulfilling requirement of the China regulators, i.e. assessment, reporting and inspection.
Keeps track of the action items and ensure completion of follow-ups from IT related regulations.
Serves as the custodian of China ORMG Sharepoint.
Knowledge and Skills:
fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
proficient in MS Office and Visio
skills in organizational ability, communication and reporting
attention to details, self-motivated and goal-oriented team player
manage multiple priorities and deadlines
